Marian Piansay

Marian works as a third grade teacher in a public school in Daly City, California. She earned her B.A in Sociology, her Multiple Subject teaching credential, and M.A in Elementary Education , all from San Francisco State University. She enjoys bringing members of the community to her classroom, and creating opportunities for all students to have access to hands-on learning.

Marian is excited to maintain the enthusiasm and build on opportunities for spotlighting the good work of Kwest On, as well as continue shining the light on the voices of those who both experience and have knowledge on social justice issues that impact not only the youth, but people from all walks of life.
