The cost of living in the San Francisco Bay Area has skyrocketed over the past decade, taking the region from expensive to prohibitive. San Francisco is now the most expensive city in the world, and San Jose, Oakland, and Berkeley all rank in the top ten. As a result, people who are from these cities have been priced out, displaced, forced to leave their homes for places where they can afford to live.
In response, Kwest On has launched a new web series called Bay Refugees in order to tell the stories of people from the Bay Area who have been displaced.

Our block Rankin Street I really miss the City and it’s sad what has happened to San Francisco the people that live there now know nothing of the history. If you drop a S.F trivia test on them they would fail.
